I just heard the news today That my life was going to have to wait I knew the brace was not working And i knew the surgery had to be lurking. My mom kept telling me not to worry at all She said "by the time they're done, you'll be standing tall" I tried to listen to her but, could not Just thinking of surgery was a bad thought I knew that the recovery will be tough Because my back was not straight enough They'll screw metal rods into my spine All because it was not in a straight line Ill miss my friends at summer camp As the surgeons work on me under a lamp I hope my girls will be right by my side Like they always have been when i cried Although i will be missing my friends, My only wish is for me not to end...

This story is completely 100% true, and i will be getting the surgery november 3. dont worry about me...im going to be FINE!!!! I might be back online late next week, or early the following week......the surgery is tomorrow.....Monday, November 3, 2008. Im not worried about the surgery itself because i know im going to be in good hands. My surgeon is going to be Dr. Jofe. He is one of the best in the world at this, and he performed the same exact surgery on my cousin. I would like to thank everyone on here for the love and support you have given me. youre the bestest! :)
